Position Overview

SV Academy is seeking an experienced Head of Talent Acquisition to expedite growing our team from 60 to over 100 this year with diverse student facing, senior contributor and executive roles and own the scaling of our terrific culture and people process.

With a high-degree of ownership and responsibility, you will work across leadership, sharing your opinions and ideas on how we can best serve our people, educators, and students as you drive Talent strategy across our HQ and Educator team.

In the first 3-6 months, you will…

  • Onboard successfully to the team, product and gain a strong understanding of people, products, and their areas of opportunity and growth.
  • Scale increasing parts of the employee journey from recruiting through promotions and exits.
  • Refine and start driving the hiring plan for 2022 and 2023.
  • Build the people operations roadmap for 2022 and 2023.

In the first year, you will…

  • Source, qualify and present new hire candidates for diverse Executive and Senior Leadership positions.
  • Build systems for your Recruiter and contract Recruiters to drive hiring velocity across senior contributor and operational roles.
  • Work to scale our team to support students past our next 10 programs.
