Position Overview

Join our growing Marketing team to launch and optimize top-of-funnel growth experiments that exponentially increase the number of highly motivated and diverse jobseeker communities interested in studying at SV Academy and working in tech.

You will produce great content for different audiences across ads, social media, product, email, press releases and other collateral with an eye on student enrolls.

To succeed, you will strengthen and maintain our brand guidelines by experimenting and quickly learning what’s working and what’s not and iterate from there. Developing SV Academy’s verbal and brand identity to inspire and capture the interest of jobseekers from diverse communities seeking great careers.

In your first 3 months, you will….

  • Successfully onboard to the Marketing team and understand our product and path.
  • Write, write, write. For ads, social media, product, email, and press releases by both translating creative direction from briefs into engaging and effective copy for different audiences and by generating new concepts for marketing campaigns, customer communications, and pieces of written collateral.
  • Provide Marketing and Design team with strategic insights to deliver outstanding campaign assets.

In your first 6 months, you will…

  • Extend and maintain brand standards and content style guide.
    • Work with Product, Admissions and others to optimize the student journey from awareness to enrollment, working to project manage all our written communication production.
    • Edit and proofread the work of Copywriting contractors you manage and hire.

    In your first year, you will…

    • Contribute to building our brand positioning by crafting compelling messages and highly shareable content that clarifies our offer, engage current and new audiences
    • Work to elevate our brand’s rank across diverse search engines.
    • Contribute to our student growth goals by constantly optimizing written communications across all our conversion touchpoints.

    • Owned your work as a copywriter and matured a company’s brand voice.

    • Can write and edit long and short format marketing copy

    • Hope to become a Content Manager or Strategist down the road.
